Belton, Kelsall Hill and Northallerton

Whilst the weather is still playing a significant role for all of us we have managed to compete over the last two weekends.

We ran 6 Intermediate horses at Belton International. Elite Jaguar owned by Pauline Fletcher ran in her second Intermediate and gave us our best result finishing 3rd with JL Dublin owned by Deirdre Johnston and James and Jo Lambert in 6th and Val and Ann Robsons Beltane Queen 10th. All We Need and Cooley Conker had their first Intermediate runs, both produced good tests and will have learned a great deal from the experience.

At Kelsall Hill One Two Many owned by Gerry and Mary Kemp and Janine Shewan had his first run of the season and produced a fabulous dressage test in the Open Intermediate of 23 and a steady cross country round to finish 7th. James and Jo Lamberts Bulana had her second run of the season and jumped a lovely double clear in the same section. JL Dublin also produced a fabulous test of 23.6 and a lovely double clear to take the win in his Intermediate section. Elite Jaguar was again in good form to finish 8th

Northallerton saw the young horses at last feel the grass under their feet after quite a slow start due to the weather and all will have hugely benefited from the run
