Luhmuhlen

I am so incredibly proud of Bulana this week competing at her 1st CCI4* at Luhmuhlen, she just keeps on getting better.

After producing a beautiful dressage test with the only slight mistake coming from practising so many halts at C that when I wanted to canter she was preparing to halt square! We did canter at C and I just love her willingness to please and she tries so very hard to do it right. Her changes were beautiful and she was a pleasure to ride, we scored 38.70

Bulana has always been quite feisty and keen cross country and could make you feel as if you were being trotted off with even in the dressage arena, but as her balance and work has improved on the flat so has her confidence, strength and overall way of going across all three disciplines. She gave me a superb ride cross country to be clear inside the time to move from 4th after dressage to 3rd place.

The show jumping was quite possibly the biggest I have seen at a Horse Trials , it was also technical and the time was very tight. Clear rounds were few and far between but ‘Berry’ jumped beautifully to produce one of those clears picking up just 3 time faults to move her up to 2nd

We are all so very proud of Berry and grateful thanks must go to my home team of Lynn, Ruth, Lucca and Catherine. Her owners James and Jo Lambert who are so supportive and to my sponsors Equitrek, Ariat,Top Spec, Amerigo, Veredus, Bucas, R Oil, Bedwell Bedding, Silverfeet, Suregrow, Wm McIvor and son, Silvermoor and Neue Schule

Luhmuhlen is such a fantastic event, we are made so welcome and the main arena with permanent facilities and sand arenas make for quite an atmosphere

Thank you Berry
